Isanti Fire District - Current Firefighters

Traditionally in December we recognize our top performers. It is no easy task, by any means- to juggle family life, work and the Fire Department.

We are honored to showcase the following members for their outstanding performance in 2023.

Station 1 Participation- 1st place Rick Cieluch. Rick is a 8 year member of Isanti Fire, and in 2023 is our overall top performer. Rick and his wife Elizabeth have six children with them in the city of Isanti. Rick works for Mn DOT during the day and has a background operating big trucks and equipment which has helped him to be one of our best talents behind the wheel. Besides being dedicated to general call response, Rick is an asset in front of a pump panel, working on an EMS call and providing guidance to our new and upcoming fire apparatus operators.

Station 1 Participation- 2nd place Nick Bartz. Nick is a ten-year paid-on-call firefighter with us and employed as IFD’s full time Technician. To see Nick leading the group in paid on call participation in 2023 shows his devotion to the department, and his commitment to both his community and the fire service. He is a true pleasure to be around and have on the team. Nick's dedication to the IFD is supported at home by his wife Ashley, and their two young daughters.

Station 1 Participation- 3rd place Susanne DenNio. Susanne is a two-year veteran of the fire service and Isanti Fire, who has worked hard to earn her participation award in 2023. With her desire to learn, great sense of humor and the most passion for anything with four legs that we've ever seen - she is a true asset to the team. Susanne and her enthusiasm at the IFD are supported at home by her wife Kim, two high school step-children and 3 dogs including her dalmatian, Ember.

Station 2 Participation Cory Haskamp. Cory has been on the team for four years and is no stranger to participation awards at our fire station #2. Cory works for Graco Inc. and is a huge asset to the team by his hard work at fire calls, participating at training events, department meetings, special events and fundraisers. Cory is joined at home by his wife Heidi in Bradford Township. Cory and Heidi are both deeply involved with our Rodeo through their volunteer work and expertise behind the scenes with rodeo royalty.

Station 3 Participaton Jason Polzin. Jason has twenty-seven years on the IFD, which is the most of any member currently on our roster. Jason has a unique, humble work ethic that we appreciate very much. In 2023, this mind set nudged him to the top of the list of Station 3 participation. Besides his superior work ethic Jason is a natural leader which has earned him the rank of Captain. Jason and his exemplary participation are supported at home by his two children and a wealth of close friends and family.
