Traditionally in December we recognize our top performers.  It is no easy task, by any means- to juggle family life, work and the Fire Department. 

We are honored to showcase the following members for their outstanding performance in 2024.

Station 1 Participation- 1st place Rick Cieluch.  Rick is a 9 year member of Isanti Fire, and in 2024 is our overall top performer.  Rick and his wife Elizabeth and 6 kiddos live in the City of Isanti.  Rick works for Mn DOT during the day and has a background operating big trucks and equipment which has helped him to be one of our best talents behind the wheel.  Besides being dedicated to general call response, Rick is an asset in front of a pump panel, working on an EMS call and providing guidance to our new and upcoming fire apparatus operators.  Rick has several of these participation awards at home which reiterates his dedication to our department and support of our mission.  Thank you, Rick!

Station 1 Participation- 2nd place Zach Lundberg.  Zach is a 15 year firefighter with the IFD who has held several leadership roles, most recently as the Deputy Secretary of our Fire Board and our Assistant Chief.  His commitment to the IFD is obvious by his accomplishments, and continues to show this year when he earned a top 3 participation award.  Zach, his wife Shanna and 2 children live in our Station 1's coverage area in Isanti Township with their dog Molly.  Zach's daytime job is in a managment position at a municipality in the metro area.  Thank you, Chief Lundberg!

Station 1 Participation- 3rd place Philip Schmidt.  Philip - AKA Schmitty AKA, Schmidt is a 2 year veteran of the IFD, and as this award shows- is a hard worker!  Schmitty lives in our Station 1's coverage area in Isanti Township with his wife, Tara, son and dog.  Schmitty's version of a vacation usually includes a passport and has recently been on a Munich, Germany fire station tour while attending Octoberfest.  I'm not very savvy speaking German...at all, but I enjoy coming up with something good enough to get Schmitty going on a streak which is quite impressive to say the least :).  Thank you for your service, Schmidt!

Station 2 Participation Award- Cory Haskamp.  Cory has been on the team for 5 years, and is taking home another participation award for our Station 2. Cory works for Graco Inc. and continues to be an asset to the team with his hard work ethic at fire calls, support of training events, department meetings, special events and our fundraisers. Cory is joined at home in Bradford Township by his wife Heidi.  Cory and Heidi are both deeply involved with our Rodeo through their volunteer work and expertise both behind the scenes and during the performance with rodeo royalty, arena work, and many, many miscellanous tasks during the busy weeks leading up to and during rodeo.  Thank you, Cory! 

Station 3 Participaton Award- Marc Volk.  Marc has been on the force at the IFD for 15 years and to our delight, made the top of the report for Station 3 this year.  Marc has held many titles over the years and is currently the treasurer, and front office chairperson for our Rodeo Association.  Marc and his wife Brandy have 2 kids at their home in Isanti Township in the Station 3 coverage area.  Marc is a business owner in Isanti and luckily for us, has a boss that lets him leave work during the day for fire calls which makes him a huge asset during the day- and in the evenings while coming from Station 3.  Thank you for your hard work and dedication, Marc!
